RENTAL CLAUSES

1. Quantity Buffer & Loss Clause

Minimum quantity is 30 pieces of selected available models for rental. We include a complimentary 5% overage with each rental to accommodate guest use and event flow. Any items not returned, including those within the overage allocation, will be billed at the standard wholesale replacement rate.

2. Security Deposit & Damage Protection Clause

A security deposit equal to 15% of the total wholesale value of the rented items is required prior to delivery. This deposit serves as protection against unreturned or damaged pieces.

The deposit will be fully refunded once all rental items are returned, inspected, and counted in satisfactory condition. Any unreturned or excessively damaged items — including those within the courtesy overage — will be deducted from the deposit at the full wholesale replacement price. If deductions exceed the deposit amount, the remaining balance will be invoiced accordingly.
Bohophy reserves the right to determine whether returned items are in satisfactory condition. Items deemed excessively worn, damaged, or unsuitable for future rental will be considered unsatisfactory. Photographic documentation will be provided when applicable.

3. Damage Clause

Excessive damage, staining, water saturation, or structural breakage may incur replacement fees. In cases of extreme weather, clients remain responsible for rental items unless prior weather-protection arrangements have been agreed.

4. Rental Period Clause

Standard rental period covers event day use with return within 48 hours unless otherwise agreed. Extended rentals require prior approval. If items arrive before the event, there will be no charge.

5. Delivery & Responsibility Clause

Responsibility transfers to client or designated planner upon delivery to the currier (FOB). Bohophy is not liable for loss or damage in trnasit or occurring during the event.

6. Customization Clause

Permanent customization, including engraving or alterations to the rental items, is not available. Bohophy logo will be engraved in all items

Each rental piece may include a complimentary paper identification label, with a maximum size of 3.5 x 2 inches (8.9 x 5.1 cm). One side of the label will indicate that the item is the property of Bohophy and kindly request that it remain at the venue following the event.

The reverse side may include the event logo or relevant event details, subject to prior approval.

Any other Customization options — including ribbon accents, branded tags, color coordination, packaging elements, or other event-specific details — ha ve and additional cost and must be approved in writing prior to production.

All customized components are considered final sale and are non-refundable once production has commenced. Customization fees are separate from rental fees and will be outlined in the proposal.

For hybrid rental + purchase packages, customized items intended as keepsakes will be invoiced separately at the agreed wholesale rate.

Any requested changes after written approval may be subject to additional fees and timeline adjustments.
